Snow Removal Operators

Overview
We are a Grande Prairie based company seeking energetic, hardworking, dedicated and skilled individuals to join our snow removal crews. When it snows, you are committed to working hard! These positions are on call 24-7, including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidates must be reliable, dependable and punctual and will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from roads, parking lots, sidewalks and other designated areas to ensure safe passage for vehicles and pedestrians during winter weather conditions. These roles require a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of snow removal equipment safely and effectively.

Requirements and Responsibilities for Operators:

• Operate skid steer/loader/plow truck/sanding truck and other snow removal equipment. Minimum 2 years experience with skid steer/loader.
• Clean and Valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Means of transportation to and from work
• Able to pull trailer, load/unload and secure equipment on trailer.
• Clear snow and ice from roads, driveways, sidewalks, and parking lots in allotted time, safely and with no damage to property or equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance during operations.
• Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing conditions as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of hours worked, and materials used during snow removal operations, including taking photos of sites (before and after).
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts effectively.
• Ensure all work areas are left clean and free of hazards after snow removal is complete.
