Soc Front End Construction Methodology Lead

Job Description


We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SOC Front End methodology Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will involve working closely with design, validation, and cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and support the next generation of SOC (System on Chip) construction methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SOC design, validation, automation, and integration, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and locations to ensure smooth and efficient product development.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with design teams, vendors, and cross-functional DA (Design Automation) teams to develop, maintain, and support next-generation SOC construction methodologies.
  • Work closely with design and validation teams as well as DA tool providers to evaluate new technologies and ensure timely updates to the project in execution.
  • Develop, maintain, and support automation scripts to assist design and validation teams, including SOC integration, validation, and FEBE (Front End to Back End handoff) flows and tools.
  • Actively engage with SOC integration and validation teams to drive continuous improvement and enhance efficiency across the SOC design and validation processes.
  • Play a key role in defining and implementing next-generation Xeon SOC, contributing to innovation and product excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with engineering teams across multiple locations, including Engineering Computing, IP, and SOC teams, to achieve KPIs and ensure the timely resolution of user requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and enhance overall product performance.
  • Actively participate in meetings, providing technical input and contributing to discussions on SOC design, integration, and validation.


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 6+ years of a combination of experience in skills listed below -OR-
  • a Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 4+ years of a combination of experience in skills listed below -OR-
  • a PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 2+ years of a combination of experience in skills listed below

  • IT/Computing and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with Xeon SOC architecture and design processes.
  • Experience with multi-location engineering teams and remote collaboration.
  • Knowledge of advanced SOC tools and technologies.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $161,230.00-$227,620.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model
