<Responsibilities>

• Enforce game rules and regulations accurately during soccer and flag football matches to maintain fair play.
• Make quick, confident decisions on plays, fouls, and infractions to keep the game flowing smoothly.
• Communicate clearly with players, coaches, and spectators to explain calls and promote understanding of rules.
• Manage conflicts or disputes on the field with professionalism and tact, ensuring a safe environment for all participants.
• Maintain focus and alertness throughout games of varying lengths and levels of competition.
• Assist in setting up game equipment and ensuring the playing area is safe and ready for action.
• Provide positive encouragement to players, especially children, fostering their love for sports while emphasizing sportsmanship.

<Experience>

• Previous experience in officiating or refereeing soccer or flag football is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of soccer and flag football rules, including common gameplay scenarios.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with players of all ages and skill levels.
• Ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally in high-pressure situations.
• Experience working with children or youth sports is a plus, demonstrating patience and understanding.

Pay: $25.00 - $25.70 per hour
