To work in this role, you must meet essential standards:

  • Hold a Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Social Care or a related field
  • Be registered (or eligible for registration) with CORU ✅
  • Have a full clean manual driving licence
  • Be flexible, reliable, and eligible to work in Ireland

CORU registration is critical—it ensures you:

  • Meet national professional standards
  • Are accountable to a code of practice
  • Can work legally and confidently in the sector
