What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Social Media Executive to join our Iris Inc team with a creator mindset and connected community that is social first, native and tapped into the cultural conversation. As part of the content creation team, you will play a vital role in social strategy and planning, and content creation and creativity. This roles provides many learning opportunities for anyone who loves all things social content and wants to build out their expertise in this field into a fledgling strategy career.


Our ideal candidate needs to understand Social through two key lenses.


INSIGHTS + OPTIMISATION


They should enjoy spotting emerging trends, unpacking the reasons behind why they are popular movements, and packaging these as insights and creative opportunities. They are also comfortable building holistic strategies, finding new conversations and storytelling techniques for our clients.


We want them to help other Iris teams understand which of our competitors are doing great work in the social space, as well what techniques, tactics, and formats are most effective in driving key client objectives.


IMPLEMENTATION


They should live and breathe social and know how to take an idea and explode it in surprising and creative ways across the different social media channels and formats.


The right candidate will be someone who loves details and is thorough in their work. For them, they take pride in delivering high quality work that is carefully executed.


This includes the nitty gritty business of managing social communities, scheduling, publishing, and boosting content, and other such tasks that drive social performance and team efficiency.


Your responsibilities as a Social Media Executive will be to:

  • Content Creative: Support in conceiving, creating or inspiring the production of thumb-stopping content that gets audiences leaning in to understand more about our brands and their products

  • Evaluation and Reporting: Ensuring success for all things social by analysing and optimising the performance of our content on social channels

  • Content Strategy and Planning: Be part of Iris Singapore’s expanding social team, supporting other social specialists in development of impactful engaging content that delivers against a client’s business and marketing objectives

  • Client Management: Be the point of contact and heart of the team ensuring success of the account from briefing to production to implementation

  • Community Management: Daily community engagement and monitoring, looking at the best ways to create personal relationships by starting conversations with the core customer

  • Paid Social Management: Ensuring media optimisation by creating media plans and working closely with the appointed media agency to achieve clients’ business objectives and increase visibility of our social activities

Who are you?

  • 1-2 years of social media management and content creation
  • Passion for strategic and creative thinking through social channels
  • Understanding people’s social media consumption behaviour, and the human insights that underpin it
  • Experience or certification in working with social media tools, including but not limited to Facebook Ads Manager, Facebook analytics, LinkedIn, Sprinklr, Brandwatch and Sprout Social
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to be meticulous in delivering accurate work
  • Strong skills in data analytics
  • Previous experience working on automotive brands and both brand and agency sides would be an advantage
