About the Role
Epic Dialogue, an award-winning Social-led Marketing Agency, is on the lookout for a creative and strategic Social Media Executive to support content planning, ideation, video-editing, and content creation across our portfolio of clients in the travel, government, and tech sectors.
From planning to execution, you’ll be hands-on in producing scroll-stopping content — with a strong focus on short-form videos, Reels, and TikToks.
This role is perfect for someone who’s deeply passionate about social media and understands how to blend storytelling with performance. You’ll work closely with creatives and account managers to bring brand narratives to life across platforms — through both organic and paid content.
We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes digital culture, stays ahead of platform trends, and can contribute fresh, insight-driven ideas that fuel awareness, engagement, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Planning
- Support in developing social media content strategies based on brand objectives, audience behaviour, and platform best practices.
- Assist in creating and maintaining monthly content calendars, adapting formats for each platform (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube).
- Conduct competitor research, platform analysis, and trend mapping to inform content directions.
2. Ideation & Campaign Concepts
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaigns, and always-on content.
- Translate marketing briefs and insights into social-first content ideas that are engaging and on-brand.
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and motion creatives to bring concepts to life.
3. Content Creation & Coordination
- Write post captions, scripts, and creative briefs for static, carousel, video, and animated content.
- Capture and edit short-form video content (IG Reels, TikToks, lo-fi stories).
- Use basic editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Pro) to piece together fast, high-impact video content.
- Assist in on-site shoots when required and source relevant UGC or stock to enhance visual storytelling.
- Oversee the production of lo-fi and mid-fi social content, including IG Reels, TikTok, Stories, and live formats.
- Work closely with the creative team to ensure assets meet platform specs, brand guidelines, and deadlines.
4. Campaign Coordination & Execution with Creative teams
- Coordinate the execution of social media campaigns, influencer activations, and digital content with the creative and content teams. Track project timelines, manage quotation requests, and liaise with vendors and production partners.
- Ensure that deliverables are submitted on time and aligned with brand standards.
5. Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor and track campaign performance metrics, using insights to refine strategies.
- Prepare post-campaign reports and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, platform algorithm changes, cultural moments, and viral trends to keep our content fresh and relevant.
Who Are We Looking For?
We’re seeking someone who is both creative and analytical, a team player who can think big but execute down to the detail. You love content that connects with people, understand what makes it convert, and are excited to be part of a fast-growing, purpose-led agency.
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in social media content strategy or creation (agency or in-house)
- Strong grasp of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, XiaoHongShu and emerging platforms
- Solid experience in writing content, collaborating on design, video-editing and supporting video production
- Up to date with social trends, memes, formats, and platform algorithms
- Familiar with social media analytics, content planning tools (e.g. Meta Suite, Notion, Later, etc.)
- Bonus: Experience in boosting content and running paid ads is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,800.00 - $3,200.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental Pay:
- 13th month salary
- Performance bonus
Work Location: In person
Expected Start Date: 01/06/2025
