Job Description

We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our marketing team and help grow our digital presence across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the creation and scheduling of content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
Support in developing social media strategies to increase engagement and followers
Monitor trends, hashtags, and competitors to help inform content ideas.
Engage with online communities by responding to comments, messages, and mentions
Assist in tracking metrics and generating performance reports (e.g., engagement, reach, growth)
Collaborate with design and content teams for visual and written assets
Research and suggest new platforms or content opportunities
Stay updated on social media best practices and platform updates.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
Passionate about social media and digital marketing
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
Familiarity with major social platforms and basic analytics tools
Experience with tools like Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar (a plus)
Creative, self-motivated, and organized with attention to detail
