SOCIAL SERVICES ADDICTION WORKER
Monarch Recovery Services is looking for a fulltime employee for our Multifunctional Bed program, to cover the 24/7 operations. We provide services for individual's seeking support in their recovery in a abstinent based program. We are seeking the individual to work 40 hours a week Tuesday to Saturday 4:00 - 12:00
The job duties include: To supervise and monitor the clients and provide emotional support and grounding as required, ensure the safety and care of residents, maintain all client and other records as required, respond to emergency and crisis situations, assist in the completion of admissions and discharges, encourage activities that will assist the client with their recovery and other program duties.
There is a shift premium for afternoons and overnight.
Qualifications:
- Social Services Diploma or equivalent post-secondary education, addictions training or experience
- Familiar with residential settings
- Must have First Aid/CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training.
- Must be proficient with the computer and Micro Soft products.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and listening skills.
- Bilingual in French and English a definite asset

- DCS / DEC (required)
Experience:
- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)
