Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
As a Social Worker in this role, you will:
- Provide psychotherapy, counseling, and other essential services in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Operate under the direct supervision of a qualified social worker who meets state-required standards.
- Coordinate comprehensive patient discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions.
- Ensure compliance with all required medical and legal standards.
- Serve as a valuable resource, sharing your expertise and insights with allied health and administrative staff within the Social Work section.
Qualifications
Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited program.
Additional Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of mental illness categories, personality development, and types of psychiatric treatment.
- Skills in conducting individual, group, and family therapy.
- Knowledge of adjustment to medical diagnoses and chronic diseases.
- Strong human relations skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, patients' family members, consultants, residents, hospital personnel, community agencies, and other resources.
- Psychosocial diagnostic skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

International Degree Requirements:

$62,275 - $93,537 / year; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.

Weekend Schedule
Every 6th weekend plus a holiday rotation.
