This is your chance to get a comprehensive view of mobile application development. You will join a highly skilled team of software developers, who are responsible for implementing software to the latest smartphones. Our new trainee will learn about technologies and processes on how to develop professional applications for Android and iOS systems. The role includes working with Agile methods in an international environment.

This role includes designing, developing and testing applications to support public safety professionals in their ongoing efforts to save lives. You will be working with experienced developers, and will learn from them not only the Kotlin and/or Swift programming languages together with reactive programming, but also how high quality is ensured throughout the development process. Your working days can also include testing activities as part of quality assurance.

The duration of this trainee period is 3-4 months and will start on as agreed for summer 2026. The position is full-time during the agreed summer training period 2026 and possibility to continue part-time in the fall of 2026 can be discussed during the internship.

Who do we see working in this trainee position?

Our trainee program is aimed at those currently pursuing their studies at university or university of applied sciences. You are aiming for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering or other relevant field of IT studies.

As you will be working with several different technologies (either with Kotlin, Java or Swift programming languages, reactive programming, test automation, continuous integration environments), we are expecting you to have interest in learning something new and developing yourself as a professional. The trainee will learn the essentials of different technologies during the internship and hence we welcome you to apply even though you would not yet be familiar with the technologies listed.
