ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

As a DevOps Engineer at SITA, you will play a crucial role in our Data and API team, contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions that deliver business insight to air travel operations. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experience in the field of DevOps within the aviation industry.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Assist in managing and automating our infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our development and production environments.
Assist in setting up, managing, and improving Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
Work closely with developers and IT teams to understand system requirements and improve deployment processes.
Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in infrastructure management

Qualifications:

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
2-3 years’ experience in the DevOps field
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Basic experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
Understanding of CI/CD tools
Basic knowledge of networking concepts and Linux/Unix administration.
