About the role

Everbridge is seeking Software Engineers to join our Auckland engineering team. You will be part of a team dedicated to developing our innovative solution for generating Travel Risk Intelligence using AI, designed to enhance the safety of traveling employees.

Our technology stack is diverse, and we welcome engineers who are eager to learn and grow while embracing new challenges. While the project you will be working on utilizes React with Java and Node.js, we encourage applications from candidates experienced in other technologies.

What you'll do:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications and APIs.
- Assist in technical discussions and contribute insights to enhance architecture, scalability, and performance.
- Participate in code reviews, learn from constructive feedback, and grow as a developer.
- Assist in investigating and resolving technical issues to ensure smooth operation of web applications and APIs.

What you'll bring:

- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A strong foundation in software development principles and practices.
- Interest in solving complex problems that help keep people safe.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Familiarity with large codebases or enterprise-grade software is a plus.
- An interest in AI technologies
