We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our team!
This is an exciting time to join our group and work on something highly strategic to Microsoft. Microsoft Dataverse is the platform to securely store an enormous amount of data in a cost efficient, scalable and easily manageable way. This team builds a suite of microservices to get near real-time insights over your data in Microsoft Support Experience Group (SXG) team. We are looking to hire an experienced and energetic Software Engineer II to join the Customer Experience (CX) / Support Experience Group (SXG) team. We are building the next generation of our applications running on Azure that pull together Dynamics 365, Office 365 and several other Microsoft cloud services to deliver high value, complete, and predictive application scenarios across all devices and form factors. We innovate quickly and collaborate closely with our partners and customers in a very agile, high-energy environment. We use industry-standard technology: C#, JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5 so it would be ideal for you to have a solid background in delivering experiences using an object-oriented language and web technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing highly usable and scalable new application capabilities and enhancing existing capabilities to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Developing and debugging product/test code using Common Data Services (CDS) and Power Platform and/or a micro-services architecture
  • Troubleshooting live site issues as part of both product development and live site rotations
  • Collaborate across diverse engineering teams to solve challenging problems for large-scale business SaaS applications
  • Accountability for the quality, usability & performance of features
  • Debug and handle customer reported issues
  • Ensuring high reliability of applications and services through intelligent monitoring and alerting

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer / Software Developer

Preferred/Additional Qualifications (Optional, at HM discretion)
  • Designing and developing highly usable and scalable new application capabilities and enhancing existing capabilities to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Developing and debugging product/test code using Common Data Services (CDS) and Power Platform and/or a micro-services architecture
  • Troubleshooting live site issues as part of both product development and live site rotations
  • Collaborate across diverse engineering teams to solve challenging problems for large-scale business SaaS applications
  • Accountability for the quality, usability & performance of features
  • Debug and handle customer reported issues
  • Ensuring high reliability of applications and services through intelligent monitoring and alerting
Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
