What You Can Expect


The Software Testing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and quality of medical device software products. This role focuses on planning, executing, and maintaining software verification activities throughout the product lifecycle to support product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous R&D development.

How You'll Create Impact


Verification activities:


  • Plan, develop, execute, and maintain testing activities for medical device software. Support verification of existing products, create testing solutions for new products, and continuously improve testing methods, tools, and test coverage to enhance software quality and efficiency.


Documentation and Reporting:


  • Generate, review, and maintain verification documentation, including test plans, protocols, reports, and traceability records. Ensure verification evidence is accurate and complete.


Regulatory Compliance:


  • Stay current with relevant medical device regulations, standards, and guidance, and ensure that software verification practices align with applicable regulatory requirements and industry best practices.


Collaboration and Communication:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish test protocols, conduct testing, and ensure that software meet the specified requirements.

Your Background


  • University-level education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) preferred in computer science, biomedical engineering, medical technology, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in software testing or experience in the medical technology industry is considered an advantage.
  • Programming skills: generic software programming (e.g. with Python)
  • Ability to learn and adopt new tools, methods, and technologies efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills and a systematic approach to tracking development and verification activities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Working proficiency in English.
