The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for a skilled Soil Yard Hand/Operator to join our team. You will play a key role in the operations at our busy soil screening facility, taking responsibility for the operation of heavy machinery, managing incoming and outgoing material deliveries, and maintaining safe material levels within the yard. If you have experience in soil screening, clean fill, or crushing yard operations, and you take pride in ensuring safety and equipment care, this is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operation of heavy machinery including:
• Excavator
• Front End Loader
• Bulldozer
• Assist with daily operations at the soil screening facility
• General cleaning and maintenance of equipment (e.g., unblocking screen, greasing machinery outside of service intervals)
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
• Process orders accurately, ensuring the correct information is provided to the team for dispatch

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a soil screening facility, clean fill, or crushing yard
• Relevant machinery tickets:
• Excavator
• Front End Loader
• Bulldozer
• HR/HC Truck Licence (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong safety focus and knowledge of equipment maintenance
• Ability to work independently and within a team
