Duties
- Conduct outside sales activities by visiting prospective clients door-to-door and in community settings to promote solar energy solutions.
- Utilize marketing strategies to generate leads and expand customer outreach across diverse markets.
- Engage with bilingual or multilingual customers to effectively communicate the advantages of solar power, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Manage customer relationships through CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software such as Salesforce, tracking interactions and follow-ups diligently.
- Negotiate tailored solar installation packages with clients, addressing their specific energy needs and budget considerations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, explaining technical aspects of solar systems, and guiding clients through the purchasing process.
- Lead sales presentations and demonstrations that highlight the benefits of solar energy, emphasizing environmental impact and cost savings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, energy sales, or technical sales is highly desirable.
- Strong background in marketing or customer outreach, with the ability to develop effective strategies for lead generation.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce, Sunbase or other CRM tools for managing client information and sales pipelines.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on closing deals while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in fast-paced environments.
- Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in clients and motivate team collaboration.
