About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced roofer to join our growing solar installation team. This role is focused on roof work, installing mounting systems, placing panels, and completing all rooftop aspects of solar PV installs.

You’ll be working alongside electricians, while looking after all roof-based work.

Responsibilities

• Installing solar PV mounting systems on residential roofs with some light commercial
• Measuring, marking, and setting out panel layouts
• Safely placing and securing solar panels
• Routing DC cabling on the roof and preparing runs for electricians
• Ensuring all work is watertight and finished to a high standard
• Working efficiently to meet install timelines

Requirements

• Strong roofing experience (essential)
• Experience with solar PV installs (highly desirable)
• Confident working at heights
• Safe Pass & Manual Handling
• Able to work independently and take ownership of jobs
• Document and photograph jobs for office submission.
• Organise and plan use of materials
