Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, configure, and administer SolarWinds monitoring tools to effectively monitor the customer's IT infrastructures
- Customize SolarWinds dashboards, alerts, and reports to meet specific monitoring requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define monitoring requirements for network devices, servers, applications, and other IT components
- Implement and manage SolarWinds monitoring solutions to ensure proactive identification and resolution of potential issues
- Analyze SolarWinds data to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement
- Work closely with IT teams to implement optimizations and enhance overall system performance
- Develop and maintain incident response procedures for SolarWinds-related incidents
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SolarWinds configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions for internal teams on SolarWinds tools
Primary Skills:
- Proven experience as a SolarWinds Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of SolarWinds monitoring tools and features
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Systems Administrator with a specialization in SolarWinds
- Experience with the following SolarWinds modules:
o SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor
o SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer
o SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager
o SolarWinds IP Address Manager
o SolarWinds User Device Tracker
o SolarWinds Storage Resource Monitor
o SolarWinds Server Configuration Monitor
o SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor
o SolarWinds Virtualization Manager
o SolarWinds Web Performance Monitor
o SolarWinds Log Analyzer
o SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer for SQL Server
o SolarWinds Network Topology Mapper
