Solidworks/Swood Technician

The position is being created to help streamline and increase production.

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate with 2-3 years’ experience. You will be responsible for converting architects and interior designers design intent drawings to manufacture/production drawings initially for client approval and finally for production.

You must display thorough understanding of specifications, bills of quantities, and drawings and show exceptional accuracy in measurement capabilities. You will primarily be operating the CNC machine, but will also be deployed to other machines or areas when needed Candidates must have a willingness to learn and participate in manufacturing processes while working to achieve top quality. You must be flexible to schedule, commit to, and work overtime.

The CNC operator Role:

• Drawing in Solid works and BSolid
• Writing alpha cam programmes
• Machining components on CNC Router.
• Setting up tooling.
• Designing tooling to job requirements
• Daily/weekly/monthly Service of all machines to a satisfactory and suitable level.
• Operate peripheral equipment such as saws, sanders, drills, etc.
• Able to perform complicated and accurate setup of equipment.
• Able to read measurements with various measurement tools.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

• Experience in using Solidworks to intermediate level is essential
• Attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €30,000.00-€40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
