We are looking for a talented Solution Advisor to join our Digital Supply Chain Team in EMEA, with experience of either Product Design, Logistics or Asset Management. You will be based within our Nordics region, so candidates can be based in Sweden, Norway, Finland or Denmark in this role. Experience working within Supply Chain and of delivering projects will really help you to understand our customers requirements and get them excited about the value SAP solutions can bring to them!


What You’ll Do

In this role you will bring well-developed solution and business process knowledge to customers by demonstrating a compelling vision of the future with SAP & partner solutions. You will identify, qualify, and demonstrate how SAP can provide the best solution to achieve customers business outcomes. A key part of this role is the ability to deliver memorable customer experiences with stories that differentiate with business outcomes. The role encompasses the full lifecycle of customer engagement, from supporting business development activities through to supporting renewals for existing customers.

Account Team Engagement:

  • Engage with customers early in the sales cycle by matching customer needs and vision to SAP solutions and qualifying the opportunity against a probability of success.
  • Manage the business process discovery to provide a foundation for the solution recommendations and support the business capability mapping, technical discoveries, and the case for change.
  • Support new sales and adoption by providing solution-specific expertise and competitive differentiation.
  • Provide expertise to the account team and to the development of the account strategy.
  • Contribute to creation of overall theme and competitive differentiation (value wedges) and execute dry runs.
  • Engage customers through impactful storytelling.
  • Provide answers to customer / internal SAP team inquiries concerning solution topics focusing on driving customer success and business outcomes.
  • Embrace consistent messaging and employ digital assets in all customer engagements, including recorded demos, presentations, microsites, and other reusable content.

Customer Lifecycle Engagement:

  • Effectively transition the deal to on-boarding teams / partners
  • Drive adoption by continuing to sell the vision and impact of SAP's solutions post-selection.
  • Provide expertise through the customers' successful deployments and realization of value, as required.
  • Build knowledge across the customer lifecycle.
  • Expand the SAP footprint by showing how other SAP solutions can be leveraged to address other areas of their business.

What you bring

Your focus and experience can be from any area across Product Design (PLM), Logistics (Warehouse and Transport Management), or Asset Management. Extensive experience with SAP solutions would be highly desirable, as would knowledge of competitor solutions.

In particular, we will be looking for people that can demonstrate the following:

  • Experience with relevant SAP solutions, including but not limited to
    • SAP PLM, EPPM
    • SAP WM, TM
    • SAP PM, SSAM, FSM, APM
  • Good understanding of SAP’s overall portfolio, especially other Digital Supply Chain solutions
  • Good knowledge of the competitive landscape
  • Detailed knowledge of the supply chain environment, especially business processes and relationships with wider business processes
  • Experience of implementing supply chain planning solutions
  • Experience in value-based selling, value engineering
  • Confidence presenting at C-level and enthusiasm for new and innovative solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as experience with innovative presentation elements (e.g. Prezi, video, storytelling, etc.)
  • Professional experience in presales, consulting and/or value engineering

  • Prioritising and managing your time effectively
  • Continuously learning and developing to enhance and widen your domain expertise
  • Being part of the wider SAP team, contributing to our Solution Hubs and helping others to develop

Working within the EMEA Digital Supply Chain team, you will be working alongside a diverse team covering the entire supply chain portfolio. As a key part of the Nordics market unit, you will also work closely with some of our largest customers in the region, contributing significantly to the growth of SAP and toward it’s cloud transformation.
