Your Team
At Magenta, we’re committed to delivering top-tier service and seamless experiences to our customers. To support this, we’re looking for a skilled and hands-on Solutions Architect to help optimize and evolve our IT infrastructure.
In this role, you'll identify technical challenges and design practical, scalable solutions. Your expertise will drive architectural decisions and contribute directly to successful cloud implementations and software development efforts.
You will work on strategic, business-critical solutions while still being close to the code. With plenty of freedom to innovate, you can bring your ideas, prototype new approaches, and influence our technical direction.
- Design and evolve architectures: Shape scalable, secure, and high-performing technical architectures that align with business goals and modern engineering practices
- Collaborate deeply: Work closely with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders to understand challenges, refine requirements, and design pragmatic solutions
- Prototype & propose: Explore, prototype, and propose end-to-end solutions that solve real business problems, ensuring long-term scalability and sustainability.
- Hands-on contribution: Actively develop, review and maintain high-quality code for critical projects, while guiding teams toward best practices
- Knowledge sharing: Mentor team members, create technical documentation, and drive alignment on architectural decisions
- Agile & DevOps mindset: Champion agile ways of working and modern DevOps practices to improve delivery speed, quality, and collaboration
- Innovate continuously: Stay curious, evaluate new technologies, and experiment with tools that could push our technology stack forward
Do you have 7+ years of experience in software engineering and/or software architecture? You may already be an architect, or you’re a senior engineer ready to step up. This is your chance to transition from senior engineer to architect, with mentoring and support.
You have proven experience in designing and implementing cloud-native applications (preferably on AWS)?
- Do you have strong experience in agile delivery models and collaborative ways of working?
- You have strong communication skills and are willing to be a change agent in the organization, creating impact and driving the way forward?

According to the collective agreement for the telecommunications industry, this position carries a minimum gross monthly salary of € 4.046,28 based on full-time employment (38.5 hours per week). We will discuss your actual salary with you in person, taking into account your individual qualifications and professional experience. You can expect an attractive offer that exceeds the minimum stipulated by the agreement.
