Sourcing Manager

Imagine a future where you drive sourcing projects using your commercial and strategic mindset to ensure the success of our carbon-neutral power plants

Join us in this role where you’ll contribute to building our renewables business through strategic procurement initiatives. You'll utilise and develop your skills within negotiations and tenders in close cooperation with skilled project managers, technicians, QHSE partners, and external consultants, thereby supporting our vision of a world that runs entirely on green energy.

Welcome to BIO Procurement
You’ll be part of our Sourcing team where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for sourcing activities related to our carbon-neutral energy production at our power plants in Denmark. The team supports the business with sourcing and project management and is anchored in a large and leading procurement organisation, ensuring collaboration across the company and access to access to training and knowledge sharing. As a team, we are dedicated to enable the future, create the best results, and embrace diversity.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • running projects where you're a key player in managing sourcing activities across different strategic business units
  • developing and executing sourcing strategies for OPEX and CAPEX projects for our Danish power plants
  • building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders on all levels of the organisation
  • negotiating complex contracts, ensuring high value results for us and our supplier base.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a bachelor's or master's degree in a commercial or engineering field, combined with preferably some years of experience within international procurement
  • have strong communication skills and speak and write fluent English, enabling you to communicate and negotiate efficiently with your internal and external business partners at all levels in an international environment
  • have a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude and are a positive person who sees opportunities to make an impact and lead own projects
  • thrive in a fast-paced work environment and see the value of working in a structured manner
  • possess strong interpersonal skills allowing for a high level of stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
