Role and Responsibilities:
- To manage the day to day running of the Spa.
- To lead and manage the team, overseeing training, customer service and performance.
- To maintain high standards of guest satisfaction and to inspire the team to do the same.
- To deliver revenue and profitability targets.
- Drive business growth through new marketing initiatives and partnerships in collaboration with the Manager and Sales & Marketing team
- To collaborate closely with other hotel departments to enhance the guest experience
- This is a hands on role, therefore the successful candidate must be able to work in all areas of the spa i.e. reception/carry out treatments
- Create and implement spa policies
- Conduct employee job chats and appraisals and to work closely with the Spa Manager
- To manage stock levels, review product lines, and implement systems to increase sales and profitability.
- To recruit, train and develop the Spa staff to ensure compliance in recruitment/onboarding etc.
About The Role
Serenity Spa boasts 3 bespoke treatment rooms, all featuring heated massage beds, mood lighting and exquisite décor designed to illicit a luxurious yet calming atmosphere. Our Relaxation room has a unique waterwall, and our guests can also visit our steam room and sauna.
Our chosen spa product is ELEMIS skincare therapy mirrors our devotion to all things chick, and as advocated of the Elemis range we are able to off the ever popular Biotec Technology Facials.
Spa Supervisor
An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Spa Supervisor to join our award winning Serenity Spa in The Rose Hotel, Tralee, Co. Kerry.
This outgoing and highly motivated individual will be responsible for the running and development of the spa.
The Spa Supervisor will be responsible for managing and motivating their team whilst demonstrating an exceptional level of professionalism.
The successful candidate will need to be responsible for the day to day operation of the Spa. They will establish and ensure that the highest standards are adhered to, and that the guest experience exceeds expectation.
Previous experience as a supervisor in a similar position is essential.
Requirements
- The ideal individual will hold ITEC or CIBTAC and CIDESCO diplomas and ideally have 2 or more years supervisory experience within a spa environment and excellent interpersonal Managerial skills along with a passion and drive for hospitality.
- Hands on experience as a Spa Therapist with knowledge of treatments
- Excellent written and spoken levels of English.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Computer literacy including excellent Microsoft / Excel skills
- Full time availability, including weekends and public holidays
- Previous experience with Elemis skincare an advantage
Required Criteria
- Must have at least 2 years experience in a Spa in a supervisory level
