Stellar Solutions is seeking a Space Systems Integration Requirements Verification Lead the requirements management and verification activities in support of SDA Tranche 3 Systems Integration, ensuring that all system requirements are clearly defined, traceable, and verifiable.

Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Join the team getting systems engineering and integration development done at an accelerated pace for a government customer. We are looking for mission focused engineers accustomed to automated engineering, program and task management tools at senior and mid-career levels to anchor our larger team with their core strengths

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive requirements documentation, including requirements traceability matrices (RTM) to ensure that all system functions are captured and aligned with mission objectives.
  • Oversee the verification process for all space systems, ensuring that the systems meet the defined requirements and performance criteria through appropriate testing, reviews, and analyses.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams (space, systems, software, and ground) to ensure proper requirements development, verification, and validation throughout the lifecycle of the systems.
  • Coordinate and support the execution of verification activities, such as test planning, test execution, and the review of verification results to ensure system readiness.
  • Provide guidance on best practices in requirements management and verification, ensuring compliance with both internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development of verification strategies and methods, including the identification and resolution of verification-related risks and issues.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of verification results and ensure the traceability of verification outcomes to corresponding requirements.
  • Participate in program reviews and audits, providing insight into the status of requirements and verification activities and ensuring alignment with program goals.
Required Skills

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in space acquisitions, with a focus on system development, integration, and testing.
  • A total of 15 years of relevant experience in space acquisitions, particularly in the areas of requirements management and verification for space systems.
  • Expertise in requirements management processes, including the development, validation, and verification of system requirements.
  • Strong understanding of system engineering principles, with an emphasis on verification and validation (V&V) for complex space systems.


Required Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field

Security Clearance & Other Requirements:
  • TS/SCI
  • Position location is Chantilly, VA with consideration for Aurora, CO


The typical pay range for this position is USD $165,000 - $210,000 per year, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, and a full benefits package including a significant profit-sharing retirement savings plan.
