Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Health care aide/seniors care giver to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our clients out of their private homes with personal care and daily activities and provide emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to individuals under care
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, family members, and other team members
Skills
- Experience in home care, patient care, or caregiving is preferred
- Knowledge of assisted living or nursing home procedures is a plus
- Ability to lift and move patients safely when required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and their families
- Understanding of hospice care principles is advantageous

Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Calgary, AB T2A 7Y6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
