What You’ll Do

  • Provide 1:1 tutoring in K-12 school level.
  • Help students build confidence, skills, and lifelong learning habits.
  • Personalize lesson approaches to meet each student’s needs.
  • Tutor in‑home and/or remote across East Vancouver.
  • Submit simple session notes after each lesson.

What We’re Looking For

  • Passion for helping students succeed.
  • Strong comfort with academics from K - 12 in variety of subjects.
  • Reliable, friendly, patient, and great at communicating.
  • Able to travel to students' homes or agreed-upon public places in East Vancouver.
  • Able to work well with neurodivergent students that includes those with learning or physical disabilities.

Qualifications

  • Familiar with BC Academic Curriculum.
  • Enrolled in, or completed, at least two years of post-secondary education in Canada.
  • Experience in a classroom setting or previous tutoring experience is an asset.
  • Experience working with neurodivergent students including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and learning disabilities is essential.
  • A degree in education or a related field is an asset but not required.

Compensation

  • $23–$25 per hour (based on qualifications and experience).
  • Performance‑based bonus opportunities available.
