Duties

• Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food safety compliance, inventory management, and cleanliness standards.
• Prepare a variety of dishes with skill and consistency, ensuring each plate meets quality expectations.
• Manage food handling procedures, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and adherence to health regulations.
• Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus that excite guests and align with brand standards.
• Train team members in cooking techniques, food safety protocols, and customer service skills such as serving and bartending.
• Maintain a positive work environment by motivating staff, managing schedules, and fostering teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least two years experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant operations in Vietnamese cuisine.
• Possessing a certificate or diploma in culinary management.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, handling procedures, and kitchen equipment operation.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with staff and delivering outstanding food service experiences.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Certifications related to food safety or hospitality are a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $22.50 per hour
