We are looking for an Integration Specialist who will help deliver high-quality integration solutions for Rio Tinto People Platforms, initially focused on the Workday platform.

This is a great opportunity for an energetic, agile, performance driven individual to contribute to design, communication and assurance of Rio Tinto’s global integration standards, patterns and governance. You are also the primary interface with key vendors.

Reporting to the Manager Integration Platforms, Technical Enablement and working in a collaborative community, a challenging and exciting environment, you will:

• Serve as the technical lead for People Platform integrations.

• Identify, define and guide integration strategies, standards, governance and patterns in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and Cyber Security.

• Identify, assess, and solve integration issues between Workday with external applications.

• Design integrations and interchange services rendering effective data quality and (two-way) exchange of information for systems integrated with Workday.

• Assess current state integrations and adapt into future state integrations.

• Contribute to Rio Tinto’s global integration platform roadmap in alignment with emerging technology and capability, Rio Tinto’s enterprise architecture and Product Group digital strategies.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent.

• Deep understanding of and experience with data architectures, information systems, deployment techniques and information management and analysis tools.

• Experience with Workday integration tools, including Workday Studio, EIB, and Workday Web Services.

• A background in cloud application projects with technologies such as Azure, AWS, Workday, Salesforce.

• Experience with a variety of middleware technologies an advantage.

• Understanding of data integration concepts, including ETL processes, APIs, and web services.

• Experience in API authentication protocols such as Basic Authentication, Oauth 2.0 flows, SAML, Bearer tokens, API keys and client certificates.

• If you are applying for the role based in Montreal, Quebec, fluency in French and English, both written and spoken. Rio Tinto is a global company and the duties of this position may require collaboration with colleagues, teams or partners based outside Quebec.
