Job Description
Due to business growth, we are looking for a Specialist Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant with appropriate qualifications and registration (as outlined below), to join our successful vocational rehabilitation team in Melbourne.
You will manage a specialist portfolio of customers, providing vocational counselling, assessment and job placement services to our Injured Workers within TAC, ComCare, Life Insurance and other national insurance schemes. Throughout these services you will also manage and assist clients through their psychosocial and medical management goals, to ensure they are maximising their complete potential throughout their rehabilitation. Completing thorough and timely rehabilitation program reports and progress updates to assist our clients through their recovery is a key aspect through these specialist services.
Like our best performers, you will be a driven and energetic professional, with strong verbal and written communication skills. You will have the confidence to utilise initiative to solve problems and achieve outcomes. Your personable approach will assist to manage stakeholder expectations and to build strong relationships with key customers.
Qualifications
- Qualifications in an appropriate Allied Health field, such as Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy; Psychology, Exercise Physiology etc.
- Full Professional Registration with AHPRA, ASORC, ESSA or other suitable Allied Health governing body is also a mandatory requirement.
- Experience in Occupational/Vocational Rehabilitation (highly regarded);
- The ability to proactively manage a case load and achieve outstanding results for the customer and client;
- A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the health benefits of work
- The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers
- Current driver's license and motor vehicle
