Speciality Chef – Chinese Cuisine | gategourmet Dublin€20.74 per hour | 39 hours | Sunday – Thursday 08:30–16:30

We're looking for a Chinese Speciality Chef to join our culinary team in Dublin — someone with deep expertise in authentic Chinese cuisine, an eye for detail, and the ability to deliver exceptional food at volume without ever compromising on quality.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you'll lead the production and development of our Chinese speciality meal programme — crafting dishes that reflect genuine culinary heritage while meeting the exacting standards of our airline customers.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the production and development of Chinese speciality meals, bringing authenticity and consistency to every dish
• Collaborating with the Menu Development team to create and present innovative Chinese menu concepts to customers
• Building strong customer relationships, understanding their specific requirements and translating them into outstanding food
• Contributing to food projects as part of our global Group Culinary Excellence programme
• Keeping pace with evolving trends in Chinese cuisine through our SPICE programme
• Ensuring full compliance with HACCP and all food safety regulations
• Managing the administrative side of the role accurately and on time

What you'll bring

• At least 7 years' experience as a Chef, with a minimum of 7 years specialising in Chinese cuisine
• Demonstrable expertise across regional Chinese cooking styles and techniques
• 1–3 years in a supervisory capacity within a high-volume food production, catering or restaurant environment
• A passion for authentic food and the desire to keep evolving your craft
• In-flight catering or high-volume food service experience is a real advantage
