Job Overview
Wilson Contracting Services LLC is seeking a proactive and hands-on Specialty Division Lead to spearhead our growing Specialty Division, which focuses on K-12 school projects, CTE (Career and Technical Education) equipment, appliances, and custom installations. This is a hybrid role combining project oversight, field installation, estimating, procurement, and warranty management.
You'll serve as the key driver from plan review to project closeout, ensuring that specialty items are ordered, installed, and handed off correctly. This role is ideal for a resourceful individual who thrives working both in the field and in the office, can manage details independently, and is ready to lead and shape a division within a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review drawings and specifications; create bids and estimates for specialty scopes.
  • Manage submittals, procurement, and scheduling for appliances, equipment, and specialty items.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and installations.
  • Perform or oversee installations on site for appliances, casework, CTE equipment, and similar scopes.
  • Handle punch lists and warranty responsibilities post-turnover to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate pricing and lead times.
  • Take full ownership of the Specialty Division, building systems and processes for continued growth.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in specialty installations, appliances, K-12/CTE projects, or similar roles.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, interpret specifications, and manage scope independently.
  • Hands-on skills for field installations and equipment setup.
  • Organized and self-driven, with excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Prior experience in estimating, procurement, or project coordination is highly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the DFW/North Texas region.
