Job Overview
Rise ABA Services Inc. is a dedicated agency serving the autistic community. We are seeking Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will be working directly with children and youth with autism, ADHD and other exceptionalities. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech needs. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting, focusing on acute care and pediatrics.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities: Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Utilize your expertise to diagnose a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated client care and effective case management.
- Maintain Accurate Documentation: Ensure detailed and up-to-date client records, adhering to all regulatory standards.
- Educate and Empower Clients and Their Families: Provide clients and their families with effective strategies to support communication goals at home.
Experience
- Experience working with children is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with case management principles and practices is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to speech-language pathology is essential.
- A commitment to providing exceptional client care and improving the quality of life for individuals with communication challenges is required.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CASLPO registration in good standing (or in the process)
Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Freelance
Pay: $70.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
