About Us
The Muscle and Joint Clinic is a multidisciplinary healthcare facility dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Our services include chiropractic care, physiotherapy, massage therapy, and more. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our pediatric and adult patients.
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. This part-time role offers flexibility and competitive commission-based pay, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to grow in a supportive clinic environment.
Compensation
This is a commission-based position offering 65% of billings, with an estimated earning potential of $75 to $100 per hour depending on caseload and services provided.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ speech, language, and communication abilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
Provide therapy for communication challenges, including articulation, fluency, and voice disorders.
Address developmental speech and language delays in pediatric patients.
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.
Educate patients and their families about communication disorders and therapy progress.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Participate in team meetings and case discussions as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent).
New Graduates Welcome!
Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools and Assistive Technology is an asset.
Strong knowledge of speech and swallowing therapies.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Current Vulnerable Sector Screening.
First Aid and CPR certification.
