About Questex’s International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference and the Legacy Events:
You will be responsible for selling sponsorships and other promotional events of Questex including the following:
International Hospitality Investment Forum Asia, (IHIF Asia)
Leveraging Questex’s global relationships with the investment community, IHIF Asia, strategically located in Hong Kong, is the premier platform for connecting inbound, outbound, and intraregional capital with hospitality investment opportunities.
These opportunities include hotels and resorts, branded residences, hostels, co-living and co-working spaces, and and hospitality concepts synonymous with Asia Pacific tourism, such as restaurants, beach clubs, wellness spaces and spas. It is a must-attend event for investors, developers, and industry leaders alike.
CIO Innovation Forums and CFO Innovation Summits (Hong Kong & Singapore)
You will be part of the CIO Innovation events, running more than a decade, preferred by the region’s largest OEMs such as IBM, Palo Alto, Juniper Networks, Thales etc to associate with.
The CFO Innovation Summits are the longest running events for the CFO community for over 14 years and are preferred by the likes of SAP, Oracle, Marsh, Workday, Workiva etc for sponsoring.
As a Sponsorship Sales Executive, you'll support Questex's success by being a hunter to help achieve sales revenue. The ideal candidate has experience working with clients on B2B marketing or events.
You will be responsible for generating New direct sales from building own accounts, cold calling, follow-up calling, and through face-to-face meetings.
As our Sponsorship Sales Executive You'll support Questex by:
- Have a 'hunter' mentality. Generate direct sales by building own contacts, cold-calling, follow-up calling and face-to-face meetings.
- Meets or exceeds forecasted sales (digital, marketing services, trade show/conference platforms) for over $300K (USD) in revenue annually
- Satisfies the needs of clients using a consultative selling style while being personable, professional and accommodating in manner.
- Develops a thorough understanding of the market and culture to attract new customers/business.
- Confers with sales management and other sales staff to develop growth opportunities.
- Identifies and/or maximizes the sales opportunity for assigned properties in assigned tier of customer categories and determines actions to be taken on certain tier accounts.
- Maintains and utilizes Salesforce database for all clients contact and scheduling. Forecasts and reports revenue by maintaining sales pipelines regularly.
Your Experience & Education Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience, preferably in a trade show/media environment.
- Understands issues relevant to the organizations/groups market and industry
- Listens to and understands internal/external customers and supplier expectations, needs and wants.
- Detail oriented and able to work closely with other sales representatives as well as other departments.
- Proficiency with a variety of software packages, including Excel and Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Salesforce.com experience a plus.

Education
Preferred- Bachelors or better in Marketing or related field
