Company: Kordie Location: Remote — anywhere in Europe (UK-friendly time zone) Contract type: Freelance / independent contractor Start date: Immediate Compensation: Monthly retainer + tiered commission (uncapped)

About us

We are a UK-based education and events company focused on hospitality marketing. We're launching a premium, certified B2B conference series for senior hospitality marketers — expanding across multiple European cities starting in 2026, with a multi-city calendar planned for 2027.

This is a small, fast-moving team building something new in the hospitality events space. You'd be joining early and playing a central role in revenue generation.

The role

Your job is to generate sponsorship revenue. You'll build and manage a pipeline of sponsors and commercial partners, run structured outreach, and close deals. All post-sale delivery and account management is handled by a separate team.

Sponsorship packages range from £2,500 to £25,000+, spanning in-person activations, digital-only packages, and multi-city bundles. You'll sell to hospitality tech companies, social and marketing technology platforms, agencies, legal and compliance firms, and other B2B brands serving the hospitality sector.

Who we're looking for

Must have:

  • 2+ years in sponsorship sales, commercial partnerships, or B2B event/media sales.
  • Proven record of taking sponsors from outreach through to signed agreement — not just lead generation.
  • Comfortable owning an individual revenue target.
  • Strong written English — you'll be writing to Heads of Marketing, Managing Partners, and C-suite. Your outreach needs to match their level.
  • A professional LinkedIn profile with relevant experience visible.
  • Pipeline discipline — used to updating a CRM and reporting on activity and results.
  • Confident using AI tools, Google Workspace, and modern sales tools.

Strong plus:

  • Exposure to hospitality, travel, hospitality tech, or B2B events in the UK or Europe.
  • Experience selling packages in the £5,000–£25,000 range.
  • Existing network in hospitality marketing, tech, or agency sectors.

How you work

  • Strong pipeline and follow-up discipline; used to updating a CRM and reporting basic metrics.
  • Confident communicator with strong English.
  • Comfortable discussing value, pricing and terms and handling objections.
  • Organised, reliable and good at closing the loop on next steps.
  • Confident using AI tools, Google Workspace and modern sales tools.

Setup

  • Independent contractor engagement — this is not an employment contract.
  • Remote, with UK-friendly working hours.
  • Occasional travel to London or partner events is helpful but not essential.

Setup

  • Location: Hybrid/remote; based in the UK or Europe (UK-friendly time zone).
  • Engagement: Full-time contractor, with clear sponsorship revenue and pipeline targets.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to London or partner events is helpful but not essential.

How to apply

Please send:

  • A short note (2–3 paragraphs) on why this role and a sponsorship/commercial partnership you’re proud of.
  • Your LinkedIn profile.
  • 2–3 examples of sponsors or partners you've signed — what you did, the deal value, and the outcome.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Commission
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From €2,200.00 per month

Application Question(s):

  • Please share 2–3 examples of sponsors or partners you’ve signed (what you did, what the outcome was).
