Sprinkler Fitter

Due to growth in the business, we are looking for a Sprinkler Fitter based in the Melbourne region.

Due to growth in the business, we are looking for a Sprinkler Fitter based in the Melbourne region. In this role you will maintain and repair all wet fire systems in accordance with the required codes for our clients across High Rise, Commercial and Industrial environments

What will you be doing?

• Completing Maintenance, inspection, testing, repairs, and installation to sprinkler systems.
• Expand your skills through internal and external training opportunities.
• Work in a positive and supportive team environment to ensure client's needs are met.
• Attend monthly tool box talks and regular training sessions.

Role Requirements

Trade Qualification as a Sprinkler Fitter; PIC licence; fire experience in similar roles; Confidence in dealing with customers and clients and a focus on quality and safety, as well as experience in 2 or more of the following:

• Strong experience and understanding of AS1851/ AS2118/ AS2419/ AS2941
• Fire sprinkler & hydrant systems
• Fire pump set and water supply systems.
• Deluge, pre-action and wall wetting systems.
• Gaseous suppression systems
• Familiarity and confidence of Fire Panels
• Sound knowledge of the industry standards and legislation.
