We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining Sprinkler piping systems in various settings, including construction sites. The Pipefitter will work with a variety of materials and tools, ensuring that all installations meet safety standards and specifications.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of piping systems.
Install and maintain piping systems using various methods including Grooving, threading, and cutting of pipework
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
Ensure all pipes are plumb and properly aligned according to specifications.
Perform routine inspections of piping systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
Apply basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting tasks.
Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Experience with pipe threading techniques and equipment.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential.
Ability to work effectively with hand tools and power tools commonly used in pipe fitting tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
