Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and a strong understanding of irrigation systems. This role involves working outdoors to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for various landscapes, gardens, and lawns. The Irrigation Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that plants receive the appropriate amount of water for optimal growth.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip lines, and valves.
• Assess irrigation needs for different landscapes and gardens to determine the best watering solutions.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to build and repair irrigation components.
• Dig trenches and prepare sites for installation of irrigation systems.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on existing irrigation systems to ensure efficiency.
• Troubleshoot issues with irrigation systems, making necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate watering schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed on each project.

Experience

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care is preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while performing physically demanding tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
