General Description:
The Global Value, Access & Pricing Lead Hematology is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing access, value, and pricing strategies for both in-market and pipeline hematology products. This role will develop comprehensive value toolkits to support global affiliates in demonstrating clinical and economic value to payers, healthcare providers, and patients. The position is responsible for overseeing the global value, access, and pricing strategies for all products BeiGene’s hematology portfolio (including assets considered for in-licensing), across all regions in which BeiGene operates. All key strategies are developed in alignment with global business objectives during development, launch and life cycle management of the portfolio. This position is directly responsible for providing strategic direction, at a global level, to the development of global Market Access strategies, global pricing and reimbursement strategies, and global evidence generation strategies, (including real world evidence on health economic and outcome research) that would maximize the value for BeiGene’s in-line and in-market products.
The position must collaborate closely with Regional market access leads, Commercial leadership, GPT Leader, Legal, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and strategic planning teams globally, regionally and, from time to time, locally.
Essential Functions of the job:
- Strategic Access & Value Proposition Development:
- Lead the development and execution of global access and value strategies for BeiGene’s hematology assets, ensuring alignment with commercial and corporate goals.
- Collaborate closely with GPTs, Clinical, HEOR, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams to define product value propositions based on clinical data, economic models, and patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain robust value toolkits—including tight collaboration with HEOR on health economic models, value dossiers, and clinical data summaries—to support global and regional teams in local access and pricing discussions.
- Pricing Strategy & In-Market Support:
- Define together with the Global Head of Strategic & Operational Pricing strategies and governance processes for both in-market and pipeline hematology products, adapting to evolving market access requirements.
- Analyze market trends, payer requirements, and competitive dynamics to optimize pricing and reimbursement approaches across key global markets.
- Partner with regional and affiliate pricing teams of Focus markets to support effective implementation of global pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with local market access and regulatory requirements.
- Pipeline & Launch Readiness:
- Oversee market access planning and value demonstration for BeiGene’s hematology pipeline (incl. potential in-license assets) products to ensure readiness for new product launches.
- Develop pre-launch value strategies and support local launch teams with comprehensive value toolkits and market-specific materials for payer and provider engagement.
- Collaborate with Global Medical Affairs and GPTs to ensure market access requirements are integrated into clinical trials and evidence-generation strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for market access, value, and pricing matters related to the hematology portfolio, fostering alignment across Global, Regional, and Local teams.
- Identify payer archetypes and associated needs, in close collaboration with the regional market access leads, to optimize pricing and reimbursement regionally and locally, with consistency globally, as required.
- Engage and communicate with key internal stakeholders, including R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial teams, to build alignment on access and pricing strategies.
- Present and advocate for access and pricing strategies at senior leadership and executive meetings, communicating value strategies and anticipated market access outcomes.
- Expand knowledge and experience by regular engagement with key stakeholders to understand business processes, policies, strategies, and evolving business trends.
- Represent Market Access in the respective GPTs and GBT
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of individual contributors, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving global market access objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to build capabilities in market access, health economics, and pricing within the team.
- Ensure the team stays up-to-date with market trends, payer policies, and regulatory changes that impact hematology access, value, and pricing strategies.
- Market Insights & Competitive Intelligence:
- Continuously monitor the global hematology landscape, including competitive products, new therapies, payer requirements, and regulatory policies impacting access and pricing.
- Utilize insights from global markets to refine and optimize value messages, toolkits, and access strategies to anticipate and respond to payer and market needs.
- Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
- Ensure P&R insights are embedded in product plans throughout the lifecycle.
- Manage the global P&R budget for the therapeutic area, ensure that the resources are optimized and focused on critical activities to achieve revenue, profit, and market access share objectives.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Leading a team of individual contributors, high level of cross functional and pan-regional collaborations with internal stakeholders.
Education Required: Master’s degree required, preferably in science or Health Economics. PhD preferred.
