We are launching an innovative store-in-store experience [S-team goal] supported by direct-from-China fulfilment model, and seeking a Sr. Product Manager to lead our compliance roadmap. This strategic S-team goal requires building automated solutions for compliance, including zero-touch labelling and audit programs that will enable rapid scaling across European markets. The role sits at the intersection of multiple organizations and offers unique exposure to Tech, Operations, Legal and Business teams across global locations. This role can be based in Luxembourg or London. We are also open to other EU locations as well. In this position, you will own the end-to-end compliance strategy this program's expansion, focusing on automated solutions that can scale efficiently. You'll work directly with senior leadership to define and implement innovative approaches to product compliance, especially around automated labelling, audit and verification processes to drive adherence to EU regulatory and safety requirement. The role presents a unique opportunity to shape how Amazon handles compliance at scale for cross-border trade, working with automation technologies and processes to ensure great seller experience while being driving compliance. You will drive collaboration across global teams to build solutions that enable frictionless seller experience while maintaining strict compliance standards across multiple EU regulations. This high-visibility position involves regular interaction with Director and VP-level stakeholders across Amazon's global operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical acumen with excellent product management experience with tech, Program management skills and the ability to drive results in highly ambiguous, fast-paced environments. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to influence across organizational boundaries. Key job responsibilities Program Leadership: • Lead end-to-end compliance strategy for this strategic program, focusing on zero-touch automated compliance solutions for Sellers • Define and implement automated compliance programs for both immediate launch needs and long-term scalability • Drive seller engagement strategy to ensure smooth transition to automated compliance processes • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Tech, Operations, Legal and Supply Chain teams Technical Product Development: • Design automated compliance verification systems that integrate with FC operations • Partner with Tech teams to develop scalable solutions for product labeling and compliance checking • Create end-to-end workflows and technical requirements for compliance labelling, auditing and reporting Operational Excellence: • Establish comprehensive metrics and KPIs to track compliance program effectiveness • Build scalable processes for managing exceptions and escalations • Drive continuous improvement in automation rates and compliance accuracy • Create reporting mechanisms to monitor compliance status across multiple markets Strategic Planning: • Develop long-term strategy for driving scalable zero-touch compliance across EU markets • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement • Create roadmap for scaling compliance operations with business growth • Build mechanisms for proactive identification and mitigation of compliance risks
- MBA or technical master's degree
- Experience with compliance or regulatory requirements in EU markets
- Basic knowledge of supply chain or fulfillment center operations would be helpful but not necessary.
- Experience with product compliance. Understanding of e-commerce operations and seller experiences
- Experience in launching innovative automated solutions
- Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones
- Demonstrated ability to drive technical solutions for complex business problems
