Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Manager to lead and manage the entire aluminium extrusion production process. The role is responsible for achieving production targets while ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, cost optimization, equipment utilization, and compliance with safety standards. The candidate should have strong leadership skills and extensive experience in aluminium extrusion operations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments. Manage the complete aluminium extrusion process, including billet heating, extrusion, stretching, cutting, ageing, and material handling. Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials. Monitor production KPIs such as productivity, rejection, recovery, OEE, downtime, and efficiency. Coordinate with Tool Room, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Dispatch, and Sales departments for smooth operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce manufacturing costs. Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other operational excellence practices. Analyze production losses, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and statutory requirements. Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors, engineers, and operators. Maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to EHS policies. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and present performance reviews to management.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of aluminium extrusion manufacturing processes. Expertise in production planning and process optimization. Leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of quality systems, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and Kaizen. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and decision-making skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Experience

Experience handling multiple extrusion presses. Exposure to ISO standards and quality management systems. Experience in automotive, architectural, electrical, or industrial aluminium extrusion products.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
