Sr. Program Manager, Account Compliance
- Bachelor Degree - 6+ years of experience in compliance - Strong project management experience - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrated ability to drive results in ambiguous and fast paced environments - Proven capability to work independently and continually calibrate priorities with minimal supervision - Experience working with international teams across multiple time-zones
Amazon’s Account Compliance Program team is seeking a pragmatic, innovative, and driven addition to support with the establishment of a growing number of compliance cross-programs initiatives. This is a great opportunity to play a critical role in building best-in class compliance programs whilst ensuring a great seller experience. The ideal candidate has experience in building compliance programs from the ground up, launching scalable solutions, working across multiple functions and organizations and understanding customer pain points. Problem-solving, project management skills, and executive communication are essential to be successful in this role. Key job responsibilities • Drive compliance program implementation to enable business expansions. • Drive VP/Director level goals. • Document detailed program requirements and work with tech and product partners on the development of new products, features, and functionalities. • Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders and management across organizations via flash, business reviews. • Identify potential bottlenecks and address barriers through problem solving and coordination with stakeholders and internal partners. • Proactively identify compliance issues and own the development of remediation plans. • Proactively identify pain points and opportunities for continual process simplification and improvements. • Raise the seller experience bar by optimizing risk-based controls, removing unnecessary friction and reducing business impact from new compliance obligations. • Promote a culture of compliance, proactively engaging stakeholders across business, operations, and technology teams to educate them on compliance concerns. • Use high judgment and subject matter expertise to quickly assess and offer risk-based solutions to difficult business issues. • Perform competitive benchmarking to ensure Amazon compliance programs exceed industry standards.
  • Master's degree, MBA or professional qualification
  • Experience in global programs spanning multiple jurisdictional requirements
