Staff Attorney (Litigation)

We are hiring a staff attorney for a process-driven execution role in a plaintiff-side litigation practice. This position focuses on carrying out defined litigation tasks under supervision, not developing litigation strategy or owning cases.

The role includes drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence using existing templates and outlines; handling filings, service, and procedural compliance; assisting with discovery and exhibit preparation; conducting legal research and cite-checking; and tracking deadlines across active matters. Work is structured and supervised, with an emphasis on reliability, organization, and follow-through.

The position is full-time and generally requires 50-60 hours per week. Hours may increase modestly around filings, but this is not an 80-90 hour role.

Compensation is $125,000–$140,000 base salary, depending on experience, with standard benefits including health insurance, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Candidates must have a J.D. from an accredited law school and be admitted to the New York Bar. Prior litigation experience is helpful but not required. Candidates with limited litigation experience, including those with one year or less, are encouraged to apply.

Advancement or expansion of responsibilities is not automatic and depends on demonstrated judgment and performance over time.
