This is an opportunity to join a friendly and collaborative team that plays an important role in supporting the health and safety of staff across South Western Sydney Local Health District. In this varied administration role, you'll be involved in customer service, data entry, reporting, compliance activities, and coordination of staff health programs. You'll gain valuable experience working with a range of NSW Health systems and processes while developing administrative, organisational, and problem-solving skills. The role offers the opportunity to work with staff and services from across the district and to contribute to meaningful work that helps ensure healthcare workers are compliant, supported, and able to work safely. Are You the Right Fit?
We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be organised, detail-oriented and able to manage a busy workload while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. This role suits someone who is comfortable working with data, reports, and multiple computer systems, and who can confidently communicate with a diverse range of staff and stakeholders. You'll be someone who can work well independently, use initiative, and adapt to changing priorities, while also contributing positively to a supportive team environment. As you'll be working with sensitive staff information, discretion and a strong commitment to confidentiality are essential. Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine desire to contribute to a service that supports the health and wellbeing of our workforce.
Selection Criteria

- Demonstrated high level customer service skills with a supportive and responsive approach to managing enquiries.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and processes while maintaining a high level of accuracy in administrative tasks.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, including the ability to liaise clearly and professionally with team members and a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion, professionalism and adherence to privacy requirements.
- Capacity to quickly learn and apply new systems and processes (experience with ROB, MS Teams and VaxLink will be highly regarded).
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P. Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
