Cali (Care and Learn Ireland) is an innovative Learning Day Service supporting adults with severe to profound intellectual disabilities through education, care, therapy and community inclusion.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, person-centred and confident Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will support individuals to achieve the best possible health, wellbeing and quality of life while acting as a clinical resource for the organisation, leading on medication management, healthcare policies and procedures, staff awareness training, clinical governance, audits and the continuous development of safe and effective healthcare practices across the service.

No two days are the same this role combines nursing practice, education, clinical Guidance and person-centred support.

Candidates should have:

• Current NMBI registration
• Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities and/or complex health needs
• Knowledge of person-centred and rights-based practice
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Intellectual Disability Nursing experience is desirable.
