Startup Analyst & Scout - Internship

About The Role

We are looking for a motivated Startup Analyst & Scout Intern to join our Startup Growth team at Startupbootcamp. This internship is perfect for students who want to pursue a career in venture capital and the innovation ecosystem. In this role, you will help research, identify, and select high-potential startups from around the world, contributing to our mission of accelerating innovation and driving positive change. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Startup Research: Conduct research to find emerging trends and innovative startups in different sectors.

• Application Evaluation: Review startup applications and assess their potential for our accelerator programs.

• Startup Screening: Perform thorough screenings of potential startups to see if they are a good fit for our programs.

• Founder Engagement: Connect with startup founders to gather information and build relationships within the startup community.

• Data Management: Keep our database of potential startups updated, tracking interactions and progress.

• Program and Event Support: Help organize and run startup scouting events like Fast Tracks and Pitch Competitions, ensuring everything goes smoothly.

• Team Collaboration: Work with team members to develop outreach strategies and share ideas for improving our scouting processes.

Profile Overview

We’re looking for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is excited by the startup world. You’ll fit right in if you have:

• A keen interest in the startup/innovation ecosystem.

• Good research and analytical skills; experience with Excel/Google Sheets is a plus.

• Methodical and persistent work habits, with the ability to tackle repetitive tasks with a positive attitude.

• A natural inclination for teamwork and an ability to take initiative.

• Strong interest in startups, innovation, and social impact.

• Energetic, proactive, and comfortable sharing ideas.

• Fluency in English (additional languages are a bonus).
