Role Description

We are hiring experienced Steel Stud Framers to work on multiple projects inside our production facility. This role will be part of a team focused on modular construction. You will be responsible for framing, sheathing, and insulating walls, cutting window and door rough openings and installation of windows and t-bar

Duties:

• Erect steel stud as per plans
• Install T-bar
• Cut/track window RO and install windows
• Install sheathing and insulation where required
• Demonstrate safe, quality, and efficient work is being performed and participate in inspections when given the chance
• Maintain equipment and ensure tools are returned to job box at the end of each shift

Required Experience:

• 5 years construction and or carpentry experience
• Safe skilled use of power tools
• Exhibits and promotes a sense of urgency and excellence toward all work activities
• Strong verbal communication
• Flexible, willing to work long hours if required
• able to work off ladders & scissor lifts
• able to lift up to 50 pounds

Location:

This role is plant based at our 135,000 square feet manufacturing facility 20 minutes North of Calgary in Crossfield, Alberta, strategically located near a High Load Corridor which allows us to transport loads up to 9 meters high to many parts of Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, and the United States. Our employees live in Calgary, Airdrie and surrounding communities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
