Position Overview

We’re seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Sterile Processing Instructor to lead evening classes for our Sterile Processing Technician Program. This role is ideal for professionals who value infection control, surgical support, and student mentorship—and who want to make a lasting impact on the future of patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction in sterile processing principles, instrumentation, and infection control
• Facilitate hands-on training in decontamination, sterilization, and surgical tray assembly
• Prepare students for national certification and entry-level employment
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback
• Maintain compliance with Academy policies and industry standards
• Collaborate with program leadership to ensure curriculum quality and relevance

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sterile processing or central service
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques, microbiology, and surgical instrumentation
• Prior teaching or mentoring experience a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Passion for student success and healthcare excellence
