Responsibilities

Responsible for performing delegated activities to support the entire operations of CSPD, the Operating Rooms and Procedural Areas. Duties are performed under the supervision of the Team Leaders, Supervisors and Manager and in a team environment. Responsibilities include: Decontamination of surgical instruments and equipment, assisting with loading and unloading instruments and trays to and from the washer disinfector and cart washer respectively, assists with case cart assembly, scope processing, transportation of sterilized items to the operating room for storage or patient use, restocking sterile storage areas, breaks down shipping and delivery boxes in the department.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Additional Qualifications

Basic computer knowledge.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and the ability to receive and give constructive feedback.
Good verbal and written communication skills, being concise by phone and in person.
