Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and animal-loving Sales Assistant to join our petstop team. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with daily store operations, and help ensure the health and well-being of all animals in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide advice on pet care, nutrition, and suitable products
- Handle sales transactions using the till/cash register
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment
- Stock shelves and manage product displays
- Monitor animal health and report any concerns to management
- Assist with deliveries and inventory control management
- Follow all health, safety, and animal welfare regulations
Skills & Requirements
- Genuine interest in animals and pet care
- Strong customer service and communication skills with track record
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
- Previous retail or pet-related experience is an advantage
